Review | Rabia Z Kaftan

Assalaamu alaikum girls!

So I entered this competition held by Muslimah Compass in collaboration with Rabia Z and strangely enough I won =D I won a hot pink kaftan and a Rabia Z signature jersey hijab, here are some pics and my thoughts on this item from the Ruby collection.

Ok so first thoughts upon receiving the package '*WOW* it's a really bright pink' I'm quite a girly girl I would say and I adore the colour pink (maybe just not this bright lol) It came in a pink Rabia Z Ruby collection bag (you know the ones made from fabric) and it's the same colour so I do use that when I go out because I can handle a little bit of this colour, but honestly speaking I wouldn't go out in it, it's just a bit too bright for me and would defo attract waay too much attention in the suit clad city of London. But I have worn it out to dinner at my Uncles house and I do wear it at home when we have guests.

Eventhough it's made from jersey (which usually clings to your body) this has been made in a way where it does not reveal your body figure, it's quite amazing! It's is sooo soo comfy, which is my number one priority when it comes to clothes [after modesty of course].

The Rabia Z ruby collection has more beautiful outfits, some just as daring as this pink and some more subtle colours. Like this one, which is so chic!

My outfit is perfect for dinner parties (dress it up with nice shoes, bag and long necklace) or dress it down for a night in with the girls (with a nice pair of black trousers and the jersey sheyla).

So to sum up...

Pro's: Beautiful outift, perfectly modest in terms of how it fits, awesomely comfy, (my number one go to when we have guests)

Con's: Bit too bright to wear out in public

We totally NEED a Rabia Z store in London....I mean take a look at this goregeous outfit from her Autumn/Winter collection =O I HAVE TO HAVE something like this.....I mean it's realllllly elegant and absolutely stunning!

I <3 Rabia Z!

& Muslimah Compass for holding the competition!

So what 'ya think of Rabia Z and her outfits? If you love the brand as much as  I do leave a comment below =D

Until next time...*big hugs*

Hijab Style's To Suit Your Face Shape

So you're trying to follow a hijab tutorial but your hijab just doesn't look like the person doing the tutorial, you get frustrated because you can't get it right. Well to be honest I don't think it's so much you getting it wrong, it may just be that the hijab style being demonstrated looks better on the person doing the tutorial due to the shape of that person's face. Just like when you need to get a haircut, when styling your hijab, you have to consider the shape of your face. I've had many people tell me that hijab doesn't 'suit' them because their face is too round, or their cheeks are too chubby, which is the reason why they don't wear hijab, in my opinion hijab suits everyone, you just have to figure out how to wear it to suit you. Contrary to what many think, hijab wasn't prescribed to make you look 'ugly' it is to make you look modest. In this post I have tried to look at some face shapes and find some hijab style i

Beauty Review | FW Beauty Skincare

I finally got around to writing up this much requested post on the products I bought from FWBeauty, the reason I haven't written something sooner is because I believe it's important to be using a skincare product for a while before reviewing it, as most skincare products don't give significant results after just one or two uses. I've been following the founders of FW Beauty Fatiha and Yasmine's journey online for a while now and I love seeing how successful they are becoming. They talk about their products with so much passion and confidence that I had to meet them in person and try out their skincare products. If you've been following me on Instagram you'll know that I attended the Muslim Lifestyle Show a few weeks ago and picked up the FW Beauty skincare products that I've been dying to try ever since I saw the glowing reviews. They had everything at a reduced price and I picked up the clear complexion bar, the gold elixir brightening facial

I Took My Driving Test!

Salaam all, I recently took my practical driving test and I thought I would share my thoughts and feelings of that day with you inshaAllah. On Wednesday the 18th I had my driving test. I had practiced all  I could and now the rest was down to Allah swt. I tried to keep myself calm by telling myself that whatever happens it is Allah's will and if I don't pass then maybe this time I wasn't supposed to. As I stood for Taraweeh that night my heart was pounding as I asked Allah to keep me safe on the road and also for me to pass. After praying I felt a lot calmer and soon enough fell asleep. Woke up for Suhoor, prayed Fajr and tried to go back to sleep. All I could think about was how much I wanted to pass, not because I really want to drive or anything, but just because taking lessons was taking up a lot of my time and money that I could spend on other things. As well as taking up my parents time and my uncle's. I got a couple of hours of sleep and woke up bright and
