Introducing... Some Artwork I've been woking on!

Salaam all,

Went back to uni today 1st day of the new academic year and I was absolutely shattered (yes it's very tiring sitting on your backside all day listening to lectures). As it was Laylat-ul-Qadr (night of power) last night I tried to stay up for a bit to pray and stuff, therefore not much sleep. Woke up at 7 for uni today, got soaked in the rain on the way home, came home on the bus, slept for half an hour then had to go to my aunts for iftar, came home again prayed Taraweeh and now I'm sooo sleepy (what an eventful day, makes a change from waking up at 3pm everyday of the holidays).

Anyhow enough of my life story, I couldn't sleep until I showed you some of my canvases which I have been working on. I also do personalised canvases ranging from £25-£100 depending on size, so e-mail with your name, what you want to be written on the canvas, the size of the canvas and the colour of your choice (I will try my very best to find the colour you want). For the ready made paintings again e-mail islamfactory with your details and which painting(s) you would like to buy and either myself or the Islamfactory team will get back to you with details and the invoice inshaAllah. I'm all excited now! =D

Hijab Style's To Suit Your Face Shape

So you're trying to follow a hijab tutorial but your hijab just doesn't look like the person doing the tutorial, you get frustrated because you can't get it right. Well to be honest I don't think it's so much you getting it wrong, it may just be that the hijab style being demonstrated looks better on the person doing the tutorial due to the shape of that person's face. Just like when you need to get a haircut, when styling your hijab, you have to consider the shape of your face. I've had many people tell me that hijab doesn't 'suit' them because their face is too round, or their cheeks are too chubby, which is the reason why they don't wear hijab, in my opinion hijab suits everyone, you just have to figure out how to wear it to suit you. Contrary to what many think, hijab wasn't prescribed to make you look 'ugly' it is to make you look modest. In this post I have tried to look at some face shapes and find some hijab style i

Beauty Review | FW Beauty Skincare

I finally got around to writing up this much requested post on the products I bought from FWBeauty, the reason I haven't written something sooner is because I believe it's important to be using a skincare product for a while before reviewing it, as most skincare products don't give significant results after just one or two uses. I've been following the founders of FW Beauty Fatiha and Yasmine's journey online for a while now and I love seeing how successful they are becoming. They talk about their products with so much passion and confidence that I had to meet them in person and try out their skincare products. If you've been following me on Instagram you'll know that I attended the Muslim Lifestyle Show a few weeks ago and picked up the FW Beauty skincare products that I've been dying to try ever since I saw the glowing reviews. They had everything at a reduced price and I picked up the clear complexion bar, the gold elixir brightening facial

10 tips for your online hijab company

Assalaamu alaikum all! I have been having idea's about this post for a while but just didn't how to get my thoughts together so I'm not sure if this will be any good but here it goes anyway! So I don't run an online business of my own, I don't have a marketing degree nor am I an expert in running businesses but I've done my fair share of online shopping and have done reviews for online companies so I will give some tips from a consumer point of view inshaAllah, but please remember these are merely my views and not guaranteed to work Tip 1: Be Unique Do your research and check out other companies out there. At the moment the number of 'online hijab companies' have been growing and there are sooo many companies selling the exact same scarves & accessories claiming to be unique. If you want to be successful think up something different or take a unique angle on the hijab business idea. Brainstorm, pilot your ideas, find out what really
